Fortnite: European Trio Banned For Avoiding Shakedown During FNCS

Epic has banned an entire trio for bypassing an in-game mechanic. Many players and viewers within the competitive Fortnite community are questioning Epic's decision to punish a European team for avoiding the shakedown mechanic. The situation played out mere moments after the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) third and final qualifier. An EU squad - Lzrxy, kelfy and Vortexers - stood tall as one of a few teams to secure their spot in the FNCS Semi-Finals. That would remain true until all three players loaded into Fortnite only to find a 14-day ban notification. Although warranted, Epic's handling of the punishment has sparked debate across the community. CS:GO DreamHack Open March Finalists Known

The teams that will be competing in DreamHack Open March for both the North American and South American Qualifiers have been finalized. The closed qualifier for North America found Extra Salt breezing through the rounds unscathed. Extra Salt, which is composed of gamers from four countries, defeated Ocean Gaming in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals; then Recon 5 in the Semifinals and RBG Esports in the Finals. RBG Esports, who had defeated Mythic and Secret Club to arrive in the Upper Bracket Finals, had to wait for the other Lower Bracket finals qualifier to go through three Lower Bracket rounds. Afterward, Recon 5 defeated the very same teams, Mythic and Secret Club, that RBG Esports won over to earn the right to meet RBG Esports in the Lower Bracket finals. CoD: Best Loadout for BOCW Zombies Outbreak

The new mode arrived this week, so here’s the best loadout to get you started. Black Ops Cold War welcomed the addition of a brand new Zombies mode this week, Outbreak. Outbreak is a large scale Zombies experience set in the Ural Mountains. However, you’ll want the best loadout for the job. So here’s the best Weapon, Wonder Weapon, Melee Weapon and Field Upgrade. Best Weapon: M16 The M16 carries over its Multiplayer prowess into Outbreak. Its three round burst is a great way to conserve ammo, but also take out large crowds of Zombies at once. Along with this, the M16 has a devastating Headshot multiplier, meaning if you have great aim, this will be no issue for you. However, the Gallo S12 is also a great option. The semi-automatic shotgun takes down enemies in one hit during the early rounds. Plus it's one of the best and easiest weapons to use in Outbreak. Best Wonder Weapon: Ray Gun They’re called Wonder Weapons for a reason, so every single one is great in Outbreak. How

Apex Legends Season 8 Breaks Player Record on Steam

Two years after it first came out, Apex Legends continues to draw in more players. Since it's release, Apex Legends has easily become Respawn Entertainment’s flagship title. What Apex Legends has been through The game had an up and down career on the live streaming platform, Twitch. After skyrocketing to the top spot on Twitch, it saw its fan-base dwindle and its revenue tumble almost as fast as it rose. After just under a week after its launch in February 2019, Apex Legends had 10 million players enjoying the game. This figure reached 25 million players after just over a week, and 50 million players in March 2019, just a month after its release. This phenomenal rise was then followed by a slow-down which was just as remarkable. The game needed six months to achieve 70 million players. Apex Legends wasn’t even in the Top 10 Grossing Titles in September 2019. Of course, it wasn’t all downhill for Apex Legends. Every release of a new season resulted in spikes in the number of p

Fortnite: Jonesy Is Collecting Artifacts On His Zero Point Travels

What lies ahead for Fortnite after numerous groundbreaking collaborations? Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 5 has been quite a journey thus far after its debut back in early-December of last year. Epic Games gave the game's mascot - Jonesy - keys to the car in the latest season, which significantly focused on the Zero Point. For those who aren't aware, the Zero Point is a giant portal floating over the middle of Fortnite's map. Jonesy is actively using this intimidating portal to pull 'hunters' from different dimensions. This storyline in Season 5 has allowed Epic the chance to collaborate with some unexpected movies, video games and more. Some of those guest characters include Master Chief , Kratos , Snake Eyes, Terminator , Predator, Sarah Connor, Ryu and Chun-Li . Dota 2: DPC Weekly Recap - CIS Feb 25-26

After several weeks of intense action, we finally know the names of the teams that will attend the Major. The CIS Upper and Lower divisions were a joy to watch because we got to see loads of action.  We expected different results from some of the teams, but in the end, Virtus.Pro and Natus Vincere are the ones that will go to the Singapore Major. Upper Division Team Spirit vs Team Unique The series was really important for Team Spirit because they needed the victory in order to secure the third spot in their group. We expected them to dominate in all games, but it turns out Team Unique is a lot stronger than they first appeared. Just by looking at the draft, we knew that the first game would be pretty interesting to watch. Both teams decided to pick some of the hottest heroes in the meta, which is why we weren’t surprised that the game lasted for nearly one hour. Unique wanted to counter TS’s Wraith King by picking Lifestealer and they succeeded up to a point. Sadly, Alexander &q

Koei Tecmo’s Samurai Warriors 5 Release Date Confirmed

There's plenty of hype surrounding the sharp and polished art style shown in the new game’s trailer. It employs a semi-cel-shaded style which we haven't seen in earlier installments. Samurai Warriors 5 - Announcement Trailer, PS4 But it isn’t only the art that draws interest in the game. Its greater strength might lie in the story-lines which players could follow in the game. Those who more seriously pursued the story-lines in the previous installments and their intersections with historical events wonder where the new game will lead them. The plot revolves around the two main characters; Oda Nobunaga and Mitsuhide Akechi. As Koei Tecmo promised we can expect "high action Sengoku drama told from two different perspectives.” This could mean that the game has the potential t

CS:GO: Is It Time For Natus Vincere To Make Changes?

Not the best performance in Katowice. This might become a catalyst for Natus Vincere; the play-off match versus Gambit Esports was a disaster. Natus Vincere definitely did not expect to finish their run at IEM Katowice in the quarterfinals. But in their current state, it’s as far as they could go. In fact, what we have seen at Katowice differs from Na`Vi’s performance in the BLAST Global Final 2020 and Spring Groups 2021 so much. The CIS team started its way in Katowice with wins over Virtus.pro and FURIA, but when Na`Vi met Liquid – they seemed to be not focused enough. Despite the decent individual performance, Na`Vi lost several important rounds. The same happened in the match versus Gambit –  Natus Vincere failed to secure a couple of key rounds which led to the terrible loss on Overpass. Na`Vi's Anchor woes The main issue behind Na`Vi’s unstable plays is Egor “flamie” Vasilyev. In the defense flamie plays as Anchor, and often it feels that Natus Vincere have a weak defen

Dota 2: Patch 7.28c Mid Tier List; Is Outworld Destroyer Still Broken?

Here is a list of top five mid heroes in the 7.28c patch of Dota 2. The 7.28c patch brought a few important changes to the meta. It included balancing adjustments to heroes, especially the overpowered ones who ran rampant in the 7.28b meta. The Dota Pro Circuit also included those heroes like Puck, Outworld Destroyer, Earthshaker and were also quite popular in pub games. Now that the 7.28c update is slowly settling down, the picture has become a lot clearer about which heroes are strong in the current meta. Alchemist Alchemist was untouched in the 7.28c update, but his pick rate has grown over the course of the past month. Although the hero struggles against certain mid heroes, it can bounce back from a half decent laning stage pretty quickly. That said, Alchemist is always on a timer which means players need to farm efficiently and hit their item timings perfectly. The hero falls off late game against hard carry lineups, so ending games close to the 35 minute mark should make th
