Dota 2: Thunder Predator Loses Two Players

After a really difficult year for the South American Dota 2 scene, two players decided to part ways with Thunder Predator.

Even though Thunder Predator had a pretty good year in the South American Dota 2 scene, two of their team members decided that they want a change. After Valve decided to cancel the DPC, there were all sorts of regional South American Dota 2 tournaments. Even though their prize pools were nowhere near as impressive as the ones in Europe/CIS, every team had the chance to shine.

Needless to say, Thunder Predator has been considered as one of the best SA teams. Consequently, they’ve won numerous events, which allowed them to earn a decent amount of money.

Despite the success, Farith “Matthew” Puente decided that he wants to take a break. He was planning to return to the team for the DPC, but it seems he has changed his plans. To make matters worse, Alexin “sl4d1n-” Cepeda, who was the stand-in for Matthew, also decided to return to his team, Infamous.

Now, Thunder Predator only has three active players:

  • Alonso “Mnz” Leon
  • Leonardo “Leostyle-” Sifuentes
  • Romel “Mjz” Quinteros

There are still three weeks until the beginning of the DPC. Thus, we have to wait and see which two players will join TP’s roster.  Be sure to follow ESTNN to stay up to date with Dota 2 news!
