The Spring Split Final rematch was another heavyweight fight that went the distance.

Even without fans in the stands, the LPL put on quite a spectacle to get us all pumped up for Round Two of the 2020 Playoff Finals showdown between Top Esports and JD Gaming. Let’s get right to the action!
Game One
If you like lots of kills and lots of fights, the LPL is the league to watch. Things got started with a bang as JDG did a level one invade to try and take the TES red buff. The result was a ridiculous 7 kills between the two sides with JDG “winning” the fight 4-3.

TES moved on from the early defeat and weathered the storm from JDG. JDG were the ones that started up the Baron, but TES won the fight. TES nearly got an ACE in the process. TES went back and got the Baron and started their siege.

It wasn’t long after that TES muscled their way into JDG’s base and took the Nexus.
a HUGE teamfight win for TES directly translates into the JDG nexus!

Quick Stats:
- Kills: 25 - 16
- Turrets: 9 - 3
- Gold: 65.4K - 58.4K
- Dragons: 2 - 2
- Baron: 1 - 0
Game Two
TES seemed in total control early on. Much of which was due to some exquisite play from Bai “369” Jia-Hao on Fiora. He even managed to take an inhibitor turret before the 20-minute mark.

JDG would not be turned away so easily, they fought back and kept the game close. They picked up the first Baron and controlled the dragon pit. JDG’s Zeng “Yagao” Qi was racking up kills on Lucian and TES couldn’t respond.
JDG ended up getting a crucial ACE right before the Elder Dragon spawned. That, along with another Baron buff was too much for TES to endure and JDG completed the comeback win.

- Gold: 74.7K - 69K

Game Three
In what appeared to be a repeat of Game One, JDG decided to do another level one invade and this time was much cleaner.

TES responded within a few minutes to even up the kills at 3 apiece. After the early chaos, things settled down slightly with only a few more kills on both sides and the gold staying even. This game came down to Baron control and TES came out on top on both attempts.
3? Nah. 6? Nah. 9??? Heck yeah.

JDG did manage to get a late ACE to defend the base, but it turned out to mean nothing except to delay the inevitable. TES won Game Three in a convincing fashion.
Quick Stats:
- Kills: 20 - 13
- Turrets: 10 - 3
- Gold: 65.6K - 57.6K
- Dragons: 2 - 3
- Baron: 2 - 0
Game Four
Game Four was the Zhang “Zoom” Xing-Ran show on Malphite. There was only 2 kills leading up to the 16-minute mark, which was much slower compared to the other three matches.

JDG kept up their slow and steady pace by securing two Barons and getting a few Mountain Drakes, as well. The turrets turned into paper after that and TES couldn’t kill JDG as they systematically cut down the base defenses.
Quick Stats:
- Kills: 12 - 5
- Turrets: 11 - 4
- Gold: 66.5K - 57.5K
- Dragons: 3 - 2
- Baron: 2 - 0
Game Five
Once again, it all comes down to Game Five. Nothing before this match matters now. Both teams have proven themselves among the best in the World and have provided fans with an exhilarating back-to-back Finals with back-to-back Game Fives. I highly recommend watching this one in its entirety.
Throughout this series, there has been great champion variety and adaptation. Both teams used this series as a showcase for Worlds and everyone else should take note.
This game seemed to be going JDG’s way after they got 5 early kills without a response. TES stayed in it, however, and kept stacking dragons. This strategy proved critical after they secured the Cloud Soul with a clutch play from Zhou “knight” Ding on Syndra.
JDG kept winning fights and stayed close despite losing objectives. Unfortunately, Seo “kanavi” Jin-hyeok got picked off right as the Elder Dragon was spawning and TES took it without issue. They used the buff to secure Baron and take the lead. It took one more Elder Dragon to secure the win, but there was little doubt who would emerge victorious after a successful mid-game by TES.
