G2 Esports has subbed in ADC Kristoffer "P1noy" Albao Lund Pedersen for week four of the League of Legends European Championship.
P1noy will start his first weekend of matches since joining G2 Esports at the start of the year. The ADC player will need to adjust fast, with G2 Esports currently at 4-3 as they head into the crucial mid-way point of the LEC Summer Split.
P1noy will replace Luka “Perkz” Perković who is taking a break for at least week four due to stress. After the team’s victory against Fnatic Perks said: "... having a bit hard time dealing with stress so I will be taking a break from competing from next week." Perkz has continued to compete in the LEC after the tragic passing of his father on June 7.
Perkz has been back in the ADC role for Summer Split having swapped back with mid laner Rasmus "Caps" Winther. The pair spent Spring Split in the opposite roles after Perkz spent 2019 as G2’s ADC after Caps signed from Fnatic.

P1noy is certainly looking forward to the challenge, however, he had this to say:
“Yeah - I might mostly be known for schooling Doublelift. Good luck to the rest of you... I’ll be known for going 2-0 in the LEC and winning worlds later this year. Welcome me as your emperor”
It’s certainly clear that the G2 Esports spirit even makes it to the subs bench.
G2 Esports look to push on
Following the convincing win against Fnatic in week three, G2 Esports will now look to push on. Currently, in join-third place, G2 will want to take momentum into the break between weeks four & five. G2’s Summer Split would best be described as inconsistent. They’ll be hoping P1noy can hit the ground running as he makes his LEC debut.
G2 games on Misfits and Excel during week four, and could find themselves in the midst of a top-two battle if results go their way elsewhere.
