Fortnite: Double Agent Pack To Return Soon

The Double Agent pack is coming back to the store soon.

Fortnite Battle Royale prides itself on various in-game character outfits that differ in size, color palette and reactive properties. It’s no secret that Epic Games makes millions off Item Shop purchases alone, given the options available to players via sets, bundles and even the seasonal Battle Pass. One particular bundle, dubbed the Double Agent Pack, first arrived in the Item Shop in July of 2020. It last appeared in Fortnite around its time of release. Some recent leaks from Epic Games themselves have revealed that the Double Agent Pack should re-emerge soon.

When Will the Double Agent Pack Return?

Epic’s Instagram account seems to have prematurely posted that the Double Agent Pack would return based on a tweet from HYPEX. The now-deleted Instagram post had a caption that read, “Silent wildcards of chaos, watch out for these Double Agents! The Double Agent Pack is back!” The post stayed on their account for a while before Epic deleted it. There is no particular release date, but players can expect to see the pack in the coming days.

What is the Double Agent Pack?

Costing 2,500 V-Bucks, this bundle featured 14 items in total with two distinct selectable styles. Player’s naturally flocked to the Double Agent Pack, which served as a reskin of several already-established character skins. Epic Games chose the Chaos Agent, Hush and Wildcard skins, each coming with a back bling. All cosmetics have a Shadow (black) and Ghost (white) style mixed with gold as a secondary color.

Epic Games released an additional pack named the “Shadow Pickaxe Pack,” which offered only pickaxes that would accompany each of the characters above. It featured a Gold Crowbar, Mayhem Scythe and Shadow Blades for 1,200 V-Bucks. There’s no word whether this pack will return alongside its Double Agent counterpart.
