As the team is heading to the Overwatch League 2021 Summer Showdown tournament, the Houston Outlaws decided to part ways with João Pedro "Hydration" Goes Telles.
As we move into the 2nd half of our season, the Outlaws would like to thank @Hydration for his contributions over the past two years. We wish you the best as you seek your next new challenge. Once an Outlaw—Always an Outlaw. pic.twitter.com/8e1dQ30ji0

The Houston Outlaws decided to make some changes to their roster following their mixed results in the Overwatch League so far. The team didn’t make it to either the May Melee or June Joust tournaments Finals, despite good results during the Qualifiers.
The first announcement of this mid-season for the Houston Outlaws is the release of João Pedro "Hydration" Goes Telles. The flex player joined the team for the Overwatch League 2020 Season after two years with Los Angeles Gladiators. With the Outlaws, Hydration proved to be able to play at a professional level on both DPS and tank heroes.
Within Houston Outlaws, Hydration was up against three other DPS and three tank players. On the DPS line, Dante "Danteh" Cruz, Jung-woo "Happy" Lee, and Kyle "KSF" Frandanisa are able to handle most situations. Min-jun "PIGGY " Shin and Myung-heum "JJANGGU" Cho, the two former Talon Esports tanking duo, hold the front line. In case they need backup, former Los Angeles Valiant Sanglok "Dreamer" Song is also part of the tanking lineup of Houston Outlaws.
In a Twitlonger, Hydration declared stepping back from competitive play, but not from streaming. The Brazilian American player hinted at a comeback with Overwatch 2, even though the release date is still unknown to this day.
