BOOM Esports will try to qualify for the upcoming Major using Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon.
23savage is often considered to one of the best players in SEA. Even though he was a pub star, the player quickly made a name for himself in the professional Dota 2 scene. As a result, he is now the first non-Indonesian player that will play for BOOM Esports.
Who is he replacing?
Let's welcome @23savageDotA as BOOM Esports stand-in until the end of DPC 2021 S1: Upper Divisions. He became the first non-Indonesian player to ever stand-in the DOTA 2 BOOM division

23savage will take the place of Andrew “Drew” Halim. Drew played pretty well for the most part, but BOOM Esports is currently on the fifth sport in the SEA League. As you probably know, this region has only two slots for the Major, which means that the competition is fierce.
The final two series ahead of the Indonesian powerhouse are against Execration and Vice Esports. If the team manages to win both of them, they will have a chance to advance to the Major.
Despite being one of the best SEA players, 23savage will make his debut in the SEA DPC. He was a part of Vici Gaming but following the roster changes that took place in January, he was removed from the team.
This is BOOM Esport’s current roster:
- Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon
- Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman
- Saiful “Fbz” Ilham
- Brizio Adi “Hyde” Putra
- Alfi “Khezcute” Nelphyana
If BOOM Esports manages to finish third, they will get to play in the Major Wild Card leg alongside two European and Chinese teams, as well as one from CIS.
