We spoke to Silly ahead of the Guerrillas Home Series event Just before the start of Stage 2, ESTNN had the opportunity to speak with the Los Angeles Guerrillas, Justin “Silly” Fargo-Palmer. With spring and Easter upon us, Epic Games is rolling out a brand new event for Fortnite players in Chapter 2 - Season 6. The Spring Breakout marks Epic’s first-ever spring-themed event since Fortnite arrived on the scene in 2017. The group stages have started and shaped up the progress of the very tournament well. We find out what happened during the games of Stream A. The Day 3 Stream A of group stages included teams Alliance, Aster, Quincy Crew, OB Esports x Neon, Team Liquid and Vici Gaming. With a best-of-two format, the teams battled their way to the playoffs. Here is a recap of every match in Stream A. Alliance vs Aster The first game started with Aster taking an early lead against Alliance. Although Alliance had some gold lead in the early game, Aster was great at team fights. Things got better for Alliance when they smoked to fight against Aster near the Roshan and picked up some important kills. However, a great four-man Black Hole by Lin “Xxs” Jing turned the game again and enabled Aster to snowball and finish the game. Game 2 saw Aster in control, but Alliance was never too far behind. Extra Salt Directly qualifies for BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. Extra Salt have won the VENN Invitational. Earning themselves a direct ticket the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. They'll also receive a $25,000 participation fee, plus a free bootcamp in Europe as they make the trip for the BLAST event; where $160,000 and two spots at the Spring Finals will be on offer. They're also set to attend the FunSpark ULTI Europe Final, DreamHack Masters Spring, and IEM Summer in the coming months. Held from March 26-28, the Venn Invitational tournament saw  eight teams had seeded into two best-of-one GSL groups. From there, the top two in each group headed to a single elimination bracket. Here’s our updated Power Rankings for the 2021 CDL Season. Stage 2 Week 2 of the CDL saw more rookies enter the scene. This majorly shook up the league, so here’s our updated Power Rankings after Stage 2 Week 2. 12. Paris Legion (-3) After defeat to Dallas Empire and Seattle Surge, Paris Legion suffered in week 2. While most teams seemed to show some promise, Paris looked flat, especially in their game against the Surge. Fire hasn't been performing recently, and the rookie will need to step it up soon. 11. Seattle Surge (+1) Seattle Surge looked dominant in a 3-0 win over Paris Legion. However, they’re yet to prove they can close out matches against teams higher up the league. Therefore, they stay near the bottom in 11th. 10. Los Angeles Guerrillas (-3) Following a loss to the London Royal Ravens last week, and to Toronto Ultra this week.
