Valorant’s  first competitive year has come to a close, and we got to speak with Andbox’s final addition to their Valorant roster, Aaron “ boi ” Thao. What was your competitive gaming experience like before  Valorant ? Before  Valorant , I started in the  Counter-Strike  scene at around the amateur and semi-professional level. That was my first taste of the first-person shooter competitive scene. Before that, I played LoL in a high school league around 2013, and in that season, we placed top 8. What was your introduction to  Valorant? I got into  Valorant  when I saw a teaser for Project A. It had some of those  CS: GO  elements combined with the knack of  LoL  abilities. Last night Team Aydan were crowned winners of the $100K Holiday Feast, here’s how they did it. Last night the Toronto Ultra hosted their second $100K Warzone tournament. Some of the best Warzone players in the world were involved, with Team Aydan coming out on top. Here’s how they took home the $35K first place prize. Team Aydan’s Road to Victory Aydan, Zlaner and HusKerrs were the team to finish in first place. The tournament saw teams play in Quads matches but as a Trio. In the first stage, teams played for four hours, and their t best five matches from this period were counted toward their total. The top 12 teams after the four hours moved on to round two. Team Aydan narrowly advanced to round two, placing 11th in the first four hours. However, the team heated up in round two, putting up massive 356 points within two and a half hours. Here are some of the most important changes in patch 7.28a. Even though patch 7.28 was released just five days ago, it didn’t take too long for Valve to realize that some things had to change. The addition of Aghanim’s Shard basically changes the game and the way many heroes work. Tonight the Toronto Ultra host yet another $100K Warzone tournament, here’s everything you need to know. The Toronto Ultra are hosting their second $100K Warzone tournament tonight with the Holiday Feast. This tournament sees some of the best Warzone players in the world come together to compete for their chance at the $100K prize pool. Format The Toronto Ultra $100K Holiday Feast will feature two rounds. In the first, all 30 Trios will compete for four hours in the popular Kill Race format. Here, teams will earn points for eliminations and placement, meaning teams will have to play conservative at times. Their top five matches from the first round will be added together, and the top 12 teams will advance to round two. The Pittsburgh Knights’ Knights Before Christmas tournament ended with GenG completing a reverse sweep over Dignitas in the Grand Finals.
