The most annoying error in Counterstrike has multiple solutions.
The “VAC Unable To Verify Game Session” is a rather old but extremely agitating error. This error can happen while searching for a game on Valve’s official servers. However, there is nothing to worry about unless the players facing the error are actually using some kind of unfair means to gain an advantage. Here are three solutions you can perform to fix this error.
Verify Files
Newly released patches are the most common reasons for this error to pop up. Players can fix this by verifying their game files. To do so close the game application and head over to Steam Library. Once you are there right click on “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” game and then click on Properties from the menu. You will see a dialog box appear with different settings on the left panel. Choose Local Files from there and click the Verify integrity of game files option.
Update Drivers
Sometimes a faulty or outdated driver can also prompt VAC error messages. To update drivers, go to Settings option on Windows, and select Update and Security. You will now have to click the Check for updates option. Then open Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound and finally click on Device Manager. Under the Device Manager settings, you can find various drivers for devices. A yellow exclamation mark will pop beside the faulty or outdated device. Updating and fixing the drivers might help remove the error.
Uninstall and Reinstall CS:GO
If all the above steps don’t work, it might be a good idea to uninstall and reinstall the game from scratch to remove any instances of corrupt or tampered files.
