Fortnite: TSM Welcomes Back Six-Time FNCS Finalist Commandment

TSM welcomes back a long-time member.

Josh “Commandment” Roach has rejoined TSM just two months after the organization seemingly exited Fortnite’s competitive scene. He went unsigned from February until now while compiling some outstanding tournament results. With the already verified Twitter handle of @TSM_Commandment, it only made sense for him to join the organization he spent two years beginning in 2018.

TSM Returns to Fortnite

TSM is back in Fortnite with a vengeance after supposedly leaving the popular Battle Royale title in early February. At that time, the organization released its entire purely competitive roster, leaving only content creators remaining. The California-based organization went silent before teasing a return to Fortnite in late March, which coincided with the signing of professional players Co1azo and Scrubz. What came next surprised absolutely no one, give the organization’s relationship with one of its longest-tenured members.

Commandment Re-Signed

Josh “Commandment” Roach is one of competitive Fortnite’s best-kept secret and has been from the game’s beginning. His success spans multiple seasons and years, including a World Cup Finals appearance in 2019, where he finished 20th. Since then, Commandment’s track record speaks for itself. He’s a six-time Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Finalist, where he and his teammates - Benjamin “NRG Edgey” Peterson and Evan “FaZe Cented” Barron - have achieved back-to-back second-place results. Those two finishes accompany a career chock-full of success.

Fitting is the perfect word to describe Commandment’s re-signing with the team he has called home since December of 2018. He and his teammates are currently looking forward to the FNCS Chapter 2 - Season 6 Finals, where they hope to claim their first significant tournament win as a unit and the Axe of Champions. If that happens, it would be TSM’s second Champion Series win after ZexRow accomplished that feat in Season X.

There’s no telling what else could be on the horizon for one of esports’ premier brands.
