The AK-74u has always been one of the best Submachine Guns in every Call of Duty it appears in. However, this year in Black Ops Cold War, it appears to be the best option, with many professional players favoring it over the MP5. Here’s our favorite class to run, along with the class of reigning Call of Duty League champion, Huke.
ESTNN’s Class
Here at ESTNN, we like to run a build of the AK-74u that only increases stats, and has no negative effects. The attachments increase the speed of the weapon, along with the bullet velocity while also increasing recoil control. For our class, you’ll want to use the following attachments:
- Muzzle Brake 5.56
- 9.3” Extended
- Foregrip
- Speed Tape
- Wire Stock
Huke’s Class
Cuyler “Huke” Garland also likes to run a fast variant of the AK-74u, opting to increase all areas of speed and decreasing flinch, while sticking to the base damage range. This allows him to get up close and personal in game modes such as Hardpoint. For Huke’s class, you’ll want to use the following attachments:
- Spetsnaz Compensator
- 9.3” Extended
- Spetsnaz Speed Grip
- Elastic Wrap
- KGB Skeletal Stock
