New Features
While a lot of these features were on display during the Black Ops Cold War beta, we now know everything to look for come the game’s full release. First of all, PC players will have over 200 individual settings to tweak and optimize to their needs, this includes keybinds, graphics, audio and interface settings.
Black Ops Cold War is also powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX, this means that RTX Shadows and Ambient Occlusion will be available. This gives the game a more lifelike and photorealistic feel, further immersing you into the game. Another level of immersion comes in the ability for 4K graphics and an uncapped framerate. If you have the hardware, Black Ops Cold War can run at 4K with frame rates in the triple digits.
Finally, if you’re a player who likes to use multiple monitors or a high aspect ratio such as ultrawide, you're in luck. BOCW won't limit you to a single monitor or a small aspect ratio, so ultrawide monitors and multiple displays are both supported.
Following in the footsteps of Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War will also support crossplay from launch. This means that come November 13, you can squad up with your friends no matter what platform they're on.
