Following a string of poor online results, Minnesota Rokkr have made the decision to bench Adam “GodRx” Brown ahead of the CDL Playoffs and Championship weekend.
Minnesota Rokkr will be introducing Kaden “Exceed” Stockdale to the starting lineup to increase the teams “pacing” going into champs. Rokkr coaches Jake “Reppin” Trobaugh and Brain “Saintt” Baroska released a video on the decision to bench GodRx.

Online issues
Minnesota Rokkr had an excellent start to the season, however the switch to online has not been good for them. In online matches so far, they have a 5-12 series count in total, with recent weeks being even worse. Last weekend, they won only one map in two series and have failed to win a series in their past three events. GodRx averaged a 1.27 overall K/D on LAN, while he averages a 1.19 online. While this is nowhere near the worst in the league, the whole team performance has not been up to par, and the coaches believe that GodRx is the issue.
Kaden “Exceed” Stockdale
Exceed subbed in for Alex “Alexx” Carpenter during Minnesota Rokkr’s own Home Series. Here he put up a 0.72 overall K/D in his only match against the Seattle Surge. Previously, Exceed finished 9-12th at CoD Champs last year under Sicario Gaming so while he definitely has potential, the 19 year old will finally get to show it in the CDL.
During an AMA on reddit with the Rokkr coaches, they responded to a question on CDL Champs prize money. The question asked whether GodRx would receive any prize money from champs, given that he was influential in Minnesota reaching the winners bracket.
“Short answer, yes. Our team has grown incredibly close over the course of the last 8 months. Everyone recognises the part that GodRx played in our early success". Reppin said. Adding that all players had agreed prior to any swap the GodRx would receive a portion of the player winnings. "If for some reason we go 0-2 at champs, Exceed will be giving GodRx all of his prize money, since Exceed technically did not contribute anything additional to the roster". He explained.
With the Call of Duty League playoffs and championship weekend starting in less than three weeks, the team will be working hard to build a new connection with Exceed — and hopefully improve on their recent results.
