200 Player Matches are Finally Coming to Call of Duty: Warzone
After months of speculation following leaks from the game files, it is finally announced that 200 player matches will be coming to Call of Duty: Warzone.
The official Call of Duty twitter posted a gif that spells out the number 200 in parachute emojis. This gif was accompanied by the caption “We’re gonna need a bigger plane.”

This comes after many months of waiting from fans knowing that 200 players would be coming to Warzone. After leaks early on even before Warzone was officially announced revealed that the max player count would be expanded to 200 at some time post-launch.
While the current maximum players is 150, this will be increased by 50 players meaning we could see the world kill records broken very quickly. Currently, it is unknown how this will be implemented into the game. It could be in all modes or just squads, for example, for testing. Regardless, we believe it will come during the mid-season update on June 30.
This mid-season update will be available on June 30. It will arrive with a new roadmap detailing numerous additions. These include Rytec AMR, new multiplayer map Cheshire Park, new operator Rose and much more.
